Leonardo DR mini III
The newly released Leonardo DR mini III, is the optimal portable DR system. The challenges of equine ambulatory imaging have been taken into consideration when developing this system to provide a product of highest functionality and ease of use:
Large Image Display
View your images on a 21.5” full HD, touchscreen monitor. The large HD, anti-glare monitor ensures optimal interrogation of images whilst out in the field.
Long running times
Standard rechargeable batteries, from any DIY store, can be used and changed during operation without shutting down the system. You can customise the run time from anywhere between 3.5 to unlimited hours!
Your choice of detector
The large carry case can accommodate a range of panel sizes so you can customise your system to suit your needs. The XenOR 33-100W-flex (25cm x 33cm), is a popular choice; made from a flexible substrate, rather than glass, is it almost indestructible. A larger 35 x 43cm panel is available and fits within the case.
Super light
The importance of a system that is easy to transport and carry has been taken into consideration. Despite the large HD monitor, and extremely durable case, the system is only 9.5kg, and can be comfortably transported using the carrying strap or handle.
Image Quality
The most important feature; the Leonardo DR mini II has unbeatable image quality through automatic, intelligent image processing. Coupled with intuitive image acquisition software, your imaging workflow will be quick, easy and enjoyable.

- Continuous, cordless work for 8 hours with up to 500 X-ray exposures (in double-battery operation; 18 volts / 5 Ah)
- Intuitive operation via dicomPACS®DX-R acquisition software with integrated X-ray assistant
- Veterinary specific measurement tools and macros available for recurring examination procedures, e.g. open angle for laminitis, purchase examination, etc.
