I am a registered nurse on a very busy acute medical ward. I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis for 7 years and have been taking 20mg Methotrexate for the 7 years. I have needed to take regular analgesia in order to perform any activities of daily living and also to get through the night. As a result of the medication I need regular blood tests and often my white blood cells are low and I am at risk of infection and always immuno-compromised.

I have been very fortunate and was introduced to Magnetotherapy. I felt an improvement in myself after only 3 sessions and began to reduce the analgesia. After 11 sessions I no longer need to take any analgesia and I have stopped taking the methotrexate. My joints are no longer swollen or painful and I do not feel the sluggish side effects of the medication. I can drive, work and enjoy life without any mobility issues. I cannot praise magnetotherapy enough and would recommend trying it to anyone with a debilitating illness.

I have had my conditions for at least 10 years. Over the last 2 years my pain levels had become unbearable and I was barely existing on a prescribed cocktail of pain medication. I suffered chronic pain all over my body, horrific muscle spasms, my temperature fluctuated constantly, I was often tachycardic, I had numbness down the whole left-hand side of my body, and my mobility was affected to the point where I often used a mobility scooter and crutches to just move about. Every day I am finding out that I can do more, that my body has energy, and that I now have freedom form disabling and distressing symptoms. I can think. I can go for walks and eat afterwards which is a luxury. My mobility scooter is collecting dust and I don't even know where my crutches are in the house! To say that magnetotherapy has changed my life is a complete understatement. It has given me a future.

I have suffered from osteoarthritis for the past few years, this has mainly affected my knee and shoulder joints. I am currently awaiting knee replacement surgery, but due to the physical nature of my work I have been advised to prolong the need for this surgery.
