Online veterinary CPD
We are now offering an online, on-demand small animal abdominal ultrasound course worth 16 hours of CPD. This ultrasound course enables you to build on your anatomical knowledge and sonography skills in your own time. In six sessions, the course covers an introduction to ultrasound, scanning the emergency patient, and a full abdominal scan. By the end you will be confident to pick up the (correct!) probe and start your ultrasound journey.
Suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience of basic abdominal scanning. Maybe you have done an ultrasound course before, but are a bit rusty on the functions and want to improve and revise your practical skills.

Abdominal Ultrasound 2-day Practical Course
This course provides a refresher on the fundamentals of ultrasound physics and image optimisation and introduces the ASPIRE 8-step technique. Developed to provide a systematic structure to abdominal ultrasound, the 8-steps guide you around the abdomen and ensure you don’t miss a single structure, assess structures comprehensively and, provide a thorough and holistic approach.

Echocardiography Practical Courses
We offer both a beginner and intermediate one day practical echocardiography workshop. The small group sizes ensure you have plenty of time to practice under the guidance of an experienced tutour.

Our in-practice training enables you to have small group, practical training on your own equipment (it does not have to be a CelticSMR machine). Our clinical veterinary trainers have a wealth of experience in first opinion veterinary practice and will give your team the confidence to utilise your equipment fully and offer a more comprehensive service to your patients.
