CelticSMR helps War Animal Care International

Sometimes in practice, on a bad day, we could barely envisage a more stressful situation, but imagine trying to do your job, in a bunker, with no natural light and minimal equipment surrounded by utter devastation and at risk to your own life.

That is why, when we received a call from WACI desperately trying to help out a vet in Ukraine doing exactly this, we had to help. The situation over there is dire and the vets are bravely trying to do the best they can to help injured and sick animals. A lot of equipment has been destroyed and they are now relying on donations to be able to continue.

War Animal Care International, WACI, is a group of volunteers from around the world who have come together to help animals and people in Ukraine, ensuring donations get to those in need and stay off the black market. They are currently transporting a CelticSMR x-Ray system complete with generator, CR processor, plates and stand to Ukraine. No easy feat! We wish you all the luck on your journey.
