MLS®️ Laser Workshops – September 2023

Celtic SMR recently ran a series of workshops across the UK, from London up to Glasgow. Thursday the 14th September saw the first workshop take place at Mile End Hospital in London, on Wednesday 20th September the second was held at Dorridge Chiropractic Clinic (Solihull) and the third and final session was at Rebecca Allan Podiatry in Glasgow.

Each workshop had a mixed group of attendees from different healthcare backgrounds, including physiotherapists, podiatrists, chiropractors and osteopaths, and a range of laser experience from practiced clinicians looking to consolidate and expand their laser knowledge to the ‘laser curious’ who were keen to find out more about MLS® Laser Therapy.

During each session there was discussion on laser parameters and setting choices, dosages, we spent time working through some case studies and speaking about treatment progression, we chatted over contraindications and more. There was time for hands on treatment for those who wished to practice or consolidate their application techniques. And equally importantly, everyone was treated to lunch on the day too! Attendees at the Dorridge and Glasgow workshops also had the chance to have a go with an Mphi 5 (25W) and also an M8 (75W) robotic laser to learn more about hands free/dual treatments.

Finally, we were really lucky to have Phil Pearson from Adam Smith Podiatry & Healthcare join us in Glasgow to speak about MLS®️ Laser in the treatment of a variety of pathologies including neuropathy, wounds and fungal nail infections.

All in all, an enjoyable and successful run of workshops. More to follow next year, including our first ever and already booked up workshop in the Orkney Islands! If you’d like to know more about our upcoming training events you can sign up to our mailing list HERE.
