Multiwave locked system (MLS) laser therapy utilizes the synchronized emission of 808nm continuous laser and a 905nm pulsed laser, in such a way that it is postulated that MLS enables greater penetration and positive clinical outcome than single-wavelength low-level laser therapy (LLLT). This synchronized emission also works to avoid the associated heat build-up present in other class 4 laser systems.
